Fiber Patch Cables

Fiber patch cables are fiber optic cables that are capped with connectors on both ends. The caps allow the cables to connect to telecom equipment, such as an optical switch, faster. These cables offer a dense layer of protection, which is used to link optical transmitters, receivers, and terminal boxes; a process that is referred to as interconnect-style cabling. They typically have a diameter of 125 µm.
